Many students are missing assignments this quarter resulting in lower grades.  Please be sure to check Infinite Campus to see if all work is in.  ABSOLUTE deadline for turning in make up work will be Friday, MAY 25th.  Nothing will be accepted after that date for any reason. 

Remember that extra credit does NOT count if ANY assignment is missing.

Can you believe we're in the final quarter?!  Eighth grade is around the corner!  Quarter 4 brings seventh grade to a close and offers a fresh start.  Let's make it the best yet and end the year strong!

The end of Quarter 3 is rapidly approaching.  Any extra credit or late work must be turned in by Friday, March 9.  ABSOLUTE deadline.  Nothing will be accepted for any reason after that date.

Semester 2 is a fresh start and the last half of seventh grade!  Quarter 3 will be heavy on writing as we prepare for the STAR Writing Test on March 6.   Another highlight of the quarter will be the school spelling bee in February.  We will be having class bees to determine our team representatives.  Let's work for a strong finish!

Don't forget to keep everything in your INB.  We will use the same INB the entire school year and the final exam will be cumulative.  Keep your papers safe!

The Research Project is due for A Block on Thurs. Dec. 8 and for B Block on Fri. Dec. 9.  Since this project is worth 90 points, it will have a big impact on the final English grade.  Failure to turn one in or turn in of a very poorly completed one could have a disastrous effect on a student's grade.

Don't forget that any extra credit for Quarter 1 will be due by Tues., Oct. 18th.  This is an ABSOLUTE deadline; NO papers will be accepted after this deadline for ANY reason.  It is best to get papers in early to avoid problems.
